Our story
How the bar came to be
A completely true story. Kiki checked.

Chapter 1The Observation
It started on a Friday. Kiki, three years old and the undisputed brains of the household, spent the evening on the back of the couch watching the humans host their friends. She noticed a pattern: people arrive, drinks appear, everyone gets happier, and not one cat is on the payroll. She ran the numbers overnight (some of it was napping). The conclusion was inescapable: this house is already a bar. It just has no management.

Chapter 2The Board Meeting
Kiki called a meeting on the good couch. Telo, also three and the gentlest soul in the building, attended because someone said the word “snacks.” He agreed with every item on the agenda, then raised one question of his own: “Will there be food?” That question became the hospitality policy. Nobody leaves hungry, and every guest gets a warm welcome at the door. (Telo has also been known to greet guests a little further past the door than planned, if it was left open. The board has noted this.)

Chapter 3The Loud Part
Lexi, one year old and roughly half of the household’s noise, arrived late, having ignored the meeting invitation and at least one rule. She objected to the plan at full volume. Then she improved it. A bar that never stays the same, she declared: a new menu and a new look for every holiday, and a new idea every single day. She also named the place. Her original proposal was one long meow at 3 AM. The board translated it as “The Three Whiskers.”

Chapter 4Opening Night
The grand opening happened that same weekend, mostly by accident. A barrel appeared (nobody will say where from). Kiki wrote the recipes. Telo tested the snacks. Lexi announced the opening to the whole neighborhood, twice. The humans were told they were “staff,” and accepted the role, as they usually do.
Ever since, the bar puts on a new costume for every holiday and event. Come see what it’s wearing today.
